Green-eyed Lit' Monster
Our lit' princess is getting jealous as of late, when she see me or her grandpa carrying or playing with another kid. She will whined & tried to grab our attention and clambered to us, pushing the other kid at times. Haizz... if not, she will cling like a koala bear on our legs. If all else fails, she will climb up as if our legs were the tree trunks and clam tightly to the 'tree'.

Yummy Cheesecake
Found a receipe from a mummy's blog on Japanese cheesecake and had this urge to bake... It turn out a success, the cake was soft and moist and not too cheesy. Almost all the cheesecake are gone when I brought them to my in-law house. :) Was encouraged by the turnout, will baked once again. *grin

On Patch
Even way before Dr Seah's advice on putting eye-patch on Sher's eye. I had already tried patching her up since she was 6 months old. But after our visit last year, the optometrist told me not to patch her. Thus, the struggle of patching her stopped since then.
As of her recent review at KKH, left eyesight has deterioted so our 'nightmare' begin as she constantly struggle through the whole process of being patched up. When I'm around, I tried as much to distract her. She will scream, cry and put up a fight throughout. Just wishes she understand our effort in doing this when she gets older.

Playgroup
Had a playgroup at Kheng's place this morning... some pics of the kids mingle & enjoying themselves! :) We started off with KM Hello song, while most of the time is free play for the toddlers as Mummies chatted among themselves. See how they are totally engrossed with BW's toys.

Update on Eye Check-Up
Yesterday was Shervon's eye check-up at KK Hospital. I took 1/2 day leave and met FIL together w shervon at KKH. We were exceptionally early as appointment was 2.40pm while we reached at 2pm. I was rather surprised that there's not much people waiting in queue. Spoke with Nurse Molly, and realised that 1 of the doctor was not around. Thus, explained the fewer throngs of people around.
Back to Sher's eye condition, Dr Seah said that her left eye wasn't looking good. She's got Amblyopia(Lazy Eye) and need to put on eye patch for 2 hours daily. Due to Ptosis, there's a high risk of Amblyopia where the regular bi-annual routine check-up serve to its purpose.
Hopefully, next visit will bring positive news.

Cuttlefish Craze
Last evening, hubby's aunt from Japan came over for their vacation and brought loads of Jap food/stuff for us... including tons of cuttlefish pack, seaweeds, yummy choco cake (each was S$3), mny other stuff.
FIL proceeded to store the shredded cuttlefish into a tupperware and sher was eyeing on it once he left it at the coffeetable. She took the tupperware and using eye signal to asked my FIL to open it.. she wanted to eat. Thinking she will be put off by the smell, I told FIL to let her try.. Was surprised that she actually love it and asked for more... even when it's milk-time, she still insisted for some more.

Believe or not, hb aunt said that chewing on cuttlefish promote strong teeth like his grandson.

Happy Daddy's Day
Happy Father's Day to hubby, Sher's daddy & to all Daddies :D Taught sher to say Happy Daddy's Day... & she uttered it as I said word by word... her daddy was indeed beaming.
As I took this day to reminise my memories with my dad who's now with our Father Lord. Hoping that the day we will meet in our Father's place. Dad, I missed U.

LOL The only thing that she fear now is "The Quiet Corner" which I used whenever she threw tantrum at home or when she misbehave. I'll let her stand at the corner of our study room which is her least favourite place of the house.

Lunch at Tatsuya
heheehee... My dream come true when Ade treated me to lunch at Tatsuya (bcos of her recent promotion). Tis was the awesome Jap restaurant I was raving/craving about ever since my 1st visit there. Currently, Citibank CC is having a 10% on alacarte menu but the most worth-it set lunch is the ladies set which is simply irresistible.
As I was on leave for the pm, I took time to indulge in some window shoppin before fetching Shervon & the maid home. I also took time to racquet the CC below my house. To my utmost disappointment, the CC didn't live up to my expectation. It was very noisy and the ratio of 1:8 kids. Looks like I have to find other choices nearby.
