Hiding in my own cocoon, right way to reflect what I was feeling @ tt moment
I know, I know tis blog posting was so loong overdue... but I was in a sort of personal struggle, re-adjusting in terms of personal space and re-aligning to my life goal. But glad to say, Thank God that I've found the light of path and am on the rebound. Sorry guys if I've been complaining lately to you or having you to take the brute of my downside... esp my poor hb who took effort in making my b'day special but I wasn't on my chirpy mood.
Hubby came to pick me up @ Ritz-Carlton and took me to Jewel Box, Glass Bar for a cosy dinner. The setting was amazingly romantic and we practically have the whole restaurant to ourself. I ordered the terayaki cod-steak while hb had the rib-eye steak. Food was overrated & pricey. It was the atmosphere that we were paying for, the peak of Mount Faber overlooking the scenery with cable-cars was indeed captivating. Seems like hitting the big 3 has been w/o the bday cake a norm for me. We ended the evening taking a stroll down Labrador Park (Our wedding photoshoot spot), some 'precious' quiet couple time ourselves.

It's always difficult to bade farewell, but there's always such episodes..Hubby Aunt and her family was going back to Nihon, was taking the 1am flight today. The whole entourage followed to send them off at the Airport. Little girl was extremely tired after school but she insisted on sending her Grand-aunt off. I managed to take some nice shots of the kids.

As normal S'porean parents, we peeked through the window to see that she's taking instruction well and eating her meals. I was amazed that she was feeding herself well, messy-less although she did complain to Teacher Melissa about the 'big' portion on her bowl. But yet, she still ended up finishing up everything. I was really proud of her. I think we spoilt her rotten at home, during mealtime, she was always giving excuses on not finishing up her food. During the end of the day, we went back and fetch her. Teacher Melissa was saying that she's quite distracted during class and 'kaypoh' at the other class.
Overall, I am glad that she's coping well with school and hope that her knowledge grows and good habits is reinforced over time.

A Happy New Year to all family & friends!! We had a wonderful break as Daddy had prepared a scrumptious Brunch for us. As we toasted to welcome the New Year, replacing Champagne with OJ- Orange Juice. Actually, it was memorable & touching as Hubby seldom cooked for us and basically, we won't have such opportunity for the next few years, I suppose. And I must say he's a better chef than me, always loved the food he carefully prepared with sincerity.
As I was blogging on my previous post about major changes #2, it's time to unveil... that we have officially shifted over to my inlaws place & we had rented out our 'nest'. This was decided after many nights of unrest zzzz, many tossing and turning in bed... Of cos there will be pros n cons on not having a place all by ourselves. But for the good & convenience of Sher, who started school this year, we decided to shift. Her school is located at the next block of inlaws house. So, I could just drop her off before I headed to work. (I shall blog more abt her 1st Day at School) The extra income of the rental fee also served as a saving and investment tool for us. All in all, I had no issue staying with my inlaws which is highly important and they are easy-going folks.
Back to our New Year's Day activities, we were invited to MIL's bro condo for a gathering and the kids could play at the pool. Above are the shots taken... njoy!
